In the work world, results are often what really counts. Why is that? Results show that you have done the work, put forth the effort, and understood your task. The same is true for students. Having an end product to show at the end of hard work is powerful to kids, and invaluable to assessing what they learned. It also serves as a challenge when the students begin a new project, since they always want to "out-do" their last results. |
