| This Spring, I chose to join the National Council of Teachers of English. I did this for several resons. First, as an English major, I am interested in the developments of this particular field. Second, the teaching of English is the root of all things that happen in classrooms. Literacy is required to further most any education, especially in elementary school. The NCTE provides a connection to fresh information, ideas, and methods for professional educators. |
