Online reference resources Many of the reference resources (dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, atlas, etc.) that have traditionally found in the reference section in a library are now available online. In this next set of explorations, we will explore examples of these online reference resources. Record your observations in your digital logbook and continue bookmarking webpages that are related to your web search topic. This activity completes your exploration of Basic Web Searching.
Send me an email message describing which of the basic web search tools in this recent series of explorations you found to be the most effective. Title the message Basic Web Searching Reflections. Before you move on to the Advanced Web Searching module, click on the Managing Resources link on the left side of this page to explore some techniques for effectively managing all the web resources you have found.
