email contact with the course instructor:
Throughout the course, you will be communicating with me via email. To insure that a functional email pathway exists between us, your first assignment will be to send an introductory message to me.
You will notice that every course webpage has a link to a page with my email address for quick reference. My primary email address for this course will be: bobjost@gmail.com .
In the subject or title field of the message enter TEC 912 email 1 . Please include the following information:
- Full Name and nickname - How you like to be addressed in our email correspondence?
- Current professional assignment - What grades or subjects do you teach?
- Briefly describe your web searching experience prior to this course.
- What is your target course completion date?
Within 48 hours, I will respond with a similar introductory message. Receipt of this message will validate the email connection that we will be using for course communication. Record the date you sent and received the first email message in your course logbook.
In the event that a message is ever returned as "undeliverable", send a copy of your original message to my backup email address which is: rwj@fpu.edu
I will make every effort to respond to your course email within 48 hours. Occasionally I will be away from the computer and will make every effort to notify you in advance. You may continue to email course assignments in my absence and I will respond as soon as I am able.
