Search Patterns and Paradigms

I found this true one day out in the Mojave Desert. I knew there were fossils in a general area but didn't know where, or what exact type. After much aimless wandering and climbing, I noticed what looked like old bullet slugs or bolts. On closer inspection, I discovered they were actually fragments of coral stems! They didn't look like the drawings. I started finding a lot. Then I found the strata with familiar shells, etc.

Another common name for this phenomenum in business is a paradigm. Another term is the frame of reference. Sometimes it is good to think of the classes of problems an organization can have. These different problems tend to be fixed by different professionals.
