Advanced Bookmarks/Favorites
list editing In addition to creating folders and rearranging the order of your bookmarks, you can adjust the name of the bookmark/favorite that appears in your bookmark/favorites list. You have probably noticed that the names of the bookmarks in your list are often not very descriptive of the contents of the webpage they point to. You can edit the title of the bookmark or favorite. From the Netscape Edit Bookmarks window, you can click on the bookmark you wish to edit and then select Bookmark Properties from the Edit menu. A dialog box will appear allowing you to rename the bookmark and add a short description. From the Internet Explorer Organize Favorites window, click on the favorite and then click on the Rename button. Internet Explorer does not allow you to add comments. Note: If the steps above do not work with your web browser, consult the web browser's help files.
