Comprehensive Web Searching Strategies This module of the course will introduce you to a comprehensive search strategy that will utilize all of the skills you have explored in the Basic Web Searching and Advanced Web Searching Modules. If you feel you have exhausted your original search topic, select a new topic for this activity. If you are still eager to find more, you may continue searching on the original topic. The choice is yours... Developing a search strategy prior to beginning your web searching is as important as the actual searching process. In this next activity, you will explore a strategy developed at the University of California, Berkeley Library. You can view the original website at: http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/Strategies.html This is by no means the only valid search strategy for conducting web research. In fact, if you are interested in exploring others, you can do that by clicking on the Other Search Strategies link on the course toolkit. With your topic in mind, begin your web search .
