Selecting a Topic for Web Searching

Throughout the rest of this course, you will be will be exploring the search tools available on the web. This exploration will be more relevant and meaningful if you focus on a topic that will be of immediate use to you.

Spend some time thinking about topics that you could use for your web searching.

Send an e-mail message to the instructor. List the topics you are considering and tell why you selected those topics. Title the message: TEC 3012 research topic.

You may change your topic as your web searching progresses but it will helpful to consider this at the onset of the course. As you work through the activities in the course you will collect web resources on your topic. These web resources will become part of the course project that you will submit to the instructor for evaluation at the conclusion of the course.
